RCG vs. District Millworks Jeremy Williams Zwan Preston.pdf

Jul 25 2012

We've been working with restaurants and retail stores for years and have gotten to know their needs. We think this will be a "killer app".

4 x 8 sheets of plywood clad with reclaimed wood... will be available both horizontal and vertical and in a variety of widths and color combos. The attached image shows 2" strips of mixed woods (Oak, Fir, etc.) running up the 4' lengths of the boards... great for wainscoatting, the front of a bar or POS area.

Running up the 8' length of the boardswill be good for entire walls.

These boards are preliminarily going to be priced at $96 each (about $3/SFT) but is subject to change as we start producing more of it and see what our long-terms costs are. That's about 1/2 to 1/3 of what it would cost a restaurant to buy the raw material, mill it and install themselves...

Let us know what you think...

After an ongoing dispute, RCG has decided to sever it's relationship with District Millworks effective immediately. We had great hopes for this location but it was, unfortunately, not meant to be.

While we pursue reparations through the court system, we ask that our customers, instead, visit one of our other yards where the material is still available in abundance at fair prices.
